Manhattan aan de Maas

We started with a short work meeting, where we shared our unique methods. It was refreshing to learn from each other and share our passion for interior design and real estate. Then we got to work styling and photographing the home. The spaces came to life with carefully chosen furniture, accessories, and lighting. Every detail mattered, and we worked closely together to create the perfect atmosphere.

After an intensive photo shoot, we were warmly invited by the homeowners to stay for dinner. The hospitality was overwhelming, and it felt like a warm welcome into their beautiful home. We sat down at the table and enjoyed a delicious meal, surrounded by good company.

It was a special experience to capture not only the physical spaces of the home but also the atmosphere and the stories that came with it. While enjoying a good glass of wine, we shared our own adventures as real estate stylists and interior designers. The homeowners talked about their lives, their passion for design, and their love for this unique part of Rotterdam.

During the conversation, the difference between real estate styling and interior design also came up. While real estate styling focuses on optimizing the marketability of a home, interior design goes deeper. It’s about creating a personal and functional living environment, with the wishes and needs of the residents at the center. Making someone’s house a home.

In the evening, the homes and the shipping came to life with lighting. The skyline of Manhattan on the Maas was enchanting. I realized that I am happy with where I live, but if I ever move, the Lloydkwartier would be at the top of my list. This neighborhood is already beautiful and continues to develop.

The evening flew by, and we said goodbye with a satisfied feeling. Not only had we taken beautiful photos, but we had also made new friendships and gained valuable insights. This day in Manhattan on the Maas will stay with me for a long time, not only as a real estate stylist and photographer but also as a person who loves beauty, stories, and connection.

Sabine, thank you for your patience and the 175 photos we took. Now begins the process of selecting, straightening, cropping, and optimizing the white balance. A day full of passion and beauty, captured in images.

What a great job I have!
