Stick to the rule: if you haven’t used something for more than a year, you can get rid of it.

Be Critical

Cleaning up also means saying goodbye to items that may be dear to you but that you no longer need. Be critical and honest with yourself. Ask yourself for each item: do I really need this? Does this fit my future living style? Does this make me happy? If not, get rid of it. Keep only the items that truly have value for you, such as photos, souvenirs, or heirlooms. But even for those, less is more.

Store Away

Once you have sorted your items, it’s time to store them neatly. Ensure you have enough storage space, such as cabinets, drawers, baskets, or boxes. Use labels or stickers to indicate what is in each storage place. This way, you keep an overview and can easily find something. Try to keep as few items in sight as possible, such as on tables, windowsills, or walls. A few accessories are fine, but keep it calm.
